Key Change is a performance created by women prisoners within HMP YOI Low Newton during 2014 working with Open Clasp Theatre Co in a project devised and commissioned by Dilly Arts and funded by the Big Lottery via Arts Council England and Awards For All.
The performance seeks to take the women’s voices and stories to a public audience and to audiences within make prisons. These videos include an animation created by the women at HMP YOI Low Newton set to the audio of the play, as well as a series of works made by the men from HMP Durham and Frankland Prisons all working with artist Lindsay Duncanson and writer Richard W Hardwick that were inspired by the Key Change play.
This project was conceived, devised and managed by Dilly Arts. For more information, contact us here.
